Batteries
I learned this the hard way, after destroying some pricey flashlights and finding dozens of burst, crusty batteries in the junk drawer. Left to sit around in your devices, batteries can drain, leak and cause serious damage. Loose batteries may also drain and leak if their positive and negative terminals touch.
Place each set of batteries on a strip of masking tape with the positive terminals all facing up, then wrap the tape snugly around them. Put each set of taped batteries in its own Ziploc. Put each powered device, battery bag, manual, and accessories inside a larger Ziploc.
